only tip i have mate if its a touch screen you want get your hands on a working model to see how it feels.

an oversized thumb has made it akward to use a few touch screens no matter how brilliant they are.

I've had one since last October. It's a good phone. It's not as smooth as the iphone, but it's far more customizable and has a sh*tload more features and far better camera. If you don't need a new phone now though, I'd wait a couple of months as the next wave of touchscreen gems are due out then. HTC Diamond 2, HTC Touch Pro 2, Nokia N97, Samsung Omnia HD, LG Arena, Sony Ericsson Idou. Lots of choices there, and will likely make the Omnia abit cheaper too
