Sorry if I have exceeded maximum crapness on the pun-o-meter with the thread title, but I just couldn't resist after the bid fella's efforts over the past coupla weeks. The arrogant bounce and clean hands last week, and the galloping run and goal this week are sure signs that his confidence is growing to match his stature. The big man has arrived in a big way methinks, and the best is yet to come!

Is it just me or does he seem to have gained a yard of pace?

yeah, he will be running for australia in the 100 meter sprint if he keeps it up.

I heard a whisper he may represent Australia in the thunderbird olympics in December.

Looked to me like our midfielders were reading his taps a bit better than usual vs the Dees which certainly helped us dominate in the middle. Too many times in the past we've seen Sandi dominate the hitouts while our midfielders fail to take advantage of it.

Hopefully this is the turning point and we start to at least break even in the clearances. I noticed yesterday that we still lost the clearances by about 4.

Sandi has played has played his two best games in the last two rounds. What a kick he has too! Have you noticed how often we kicked to him when the midfield was congested and that he nearly always takes it? What an asset he has become. **** off Simmonds and White we' ve got Sandi!

Yeah unlike other ruckmen who seem to drift around the edges CC seems to be using him in the corridor and around congestion. Could be just coincidental. But the next few weeks should tell if it is a strategy.

Through much of the game yesterday he was simply too buggered to run down the other end of the ground carrying 90% of the load himself.

I agree, if he'd been able to get a decent break he would have been unstoppable.

I was amazed that he beat the combination of White and Jamar. Thought their mobility could hurt us. Very impressive.

He is now able to tap the ball where he wants it and he now believes that he is Freos number 1 ruck and can beat the best. Sandi is now developing his major asset, a mean aggressive streak.

He loves the extra work load and doesn't like being benched.
