This is a designated BF Sandpit-style thread. No crucifixions, please. It's just for fun!
Right. Now, I don't think my expectations are too lofty. I am not about to get all stat-y and start talking about where we'll end up at the end of August, but I thought it would be fun to do this.
The Swannies are a great bunch of blokes who have the ability to play really well, yet they lack something. They seem to train quite hard, so I believe we, as fans, need to address their pre-match routine.
(I got this idea after hearing Tadhg discuss his fondness for bending over in a hot shower before the game
)
Considering it is the Day for the Fans on Tuesday and some will not be able to make it (I shall be in Tamworth for Unigames... SIGH! Carn the mighty New South!), I thought it might be worth asking your opinion on what we need to do to help the team 'bring it' when they go to matches.
Do they need my signature 'C'MON BALBOA' fire up mixed tape (well, CD)?
Do they need to watch Bring It On/Rocky II/some other movie before the match?
Do they need a pre-game meditation class? ("Om....Swans....")
Interpretative dance class, perhaps? ("I am the sherrin, flying gracefully through the air...")
Do they need an obligatory night out on the turps the night before the game?
(It's a proven fact that my team plays like demons when we've all had big ones...)
Do they need Gosh to fly in their requested caffine hits (along with our signature Bay 28 Good Luck Footy Bikkies) before they take the field?
Do they need a rotating roster of mums willing to cook the troops brekkie? (I know, sounds sexist, though all my mates swear by their Mum's big brekkies before a match!)
Does BBH need to up his dosage of No-Doz and start sharing with his team mates?
I would be interested to hear your thoughts.
So, game on
