Kinglake senior footballer Sandy Carpenter has this week been diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma and will begin an intensive course of chemotherapy and radiation therapy in the coming days. Sandy is only 21 years old and less than 12 months ago purchased his first home with fiance Sarah.
In order to help support Sandy during this difficult time a fundraiser is being held at the Kinglake FNC clubrooms on AFL Grand Final Day, September 25 2010, from 12pm. Entry is $30 each or $50 per family with drinks at bar prices and food available for purchase. There will be auctions, raffles, kids entertainment and the Grand Final on the big screen.
