SANFL Grand Final @ Night

I heard Chris McDermott saying this the other night. They should play the SANFL Grand Final on a Friday or Saturday night.

I think that woul bring a lot more people to the game and would be a pretty good experience!

actually ill have to agree with Docker Brat here... i despise McBonehead, almost destroyed my great club, puts a crappy Slowdown on when the SANFL finals are one... why not have it a week after the season? or even before

i would hate to see a Grand Final played at night, keep it in the daytime

I agree. McDermott is just another member of the Adelaide football media who only turn to SANFL when the Crows and Power fall flat on their face. 5AA personalities in particular are notorious for this. The SANFL gave them their opportunities in life, and now the AFL is here they dump the SANFL like a hot spud. I couldn't care less what bonehead thinks.

Well said Docker Brat and Adelaide Hawk. If either of you two have read the Advertiser this week you would have noticed a lot of coverage for the SANFL Grand Final, yet all year we have had bugger all. They only increased the articles when the AFL finished.

I hate Crow supporters who dont give a crap about the SANFL, same goes for Port Power fans. They forget that without the SANFL they wouldnt have a team to support in the extended VFL.

Then they'll go on how the Slowdown gets more crowd than the SANFL GF - well, compare apples with apples. One only requires a gold coin donation (and a fair few still don't put their hands in their pockets). What sort of crowd would the SANFL GF get if it was only a $2 donation?

Shouldn't be on this weekend - belongs a week after the SANFL GF. But then I don't care as I refuse to watch it. Bone still have therapy getting over his sacking by the AFC in 1996.

Have to agree with what you guys are saying about Adelaide Media and the SANFL .My son and I were at woodville oval thursday night alot of the comments from Eagles fans was where have you media guys been all year you only appear when the afl is over . The channel 10 guy Aiston(spelling sorry) was practising the players names over and over and over as we walked past . The disgruntled former Crows captian the slowdown is a great idea but have it on another weekend not the SANFL's G/F weekend.
