He is a truly great artist.

His reputation must have gone down in recent years with "those pop songs", but at his peak, he was incredible.

I have quite a few old Santan albums on vinyl and really should play them again. My wife tends to think that 5 minute guitar solos are complete wank so I need to pick a time !

I also have a Carlos Santana solo album called Havana Moon with some great guests on. The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Willie Nelson and Booker T Jones, then a beautiful love song from his Dad. Not one of his classics but a terrific little album.
