Sitting up high at the "G" i found it near impossible to read the numbers on the back of players. Usually can pick out individuals but yesterday without use of being able to see the numbers and with players with similar summer haircuts I found picking the ball carrier difficult at times.
Did anyone else find this a problem ?

Numbers are too small, the stupid TAC thing is in the middle of the jumper
If we moved the white text down to where there is black anyway we can increase the size of the numbers

The reflective/shiny nature of the material is going to cause troubles regardless though

i was front row level one and rarely could see the numbers. i often thought the first number was a 4. for exapmle cogs (24) to me seemed number 44. but only those who had double figured numbers not single fingures. very hard for sure. but watching a lot of pre season training i knew the players quite well.

Sitting top of the ponsford, close to the front, could clearly distinguish the numbers, and quite liked the sash on the back.

Ha ha, funny you mention #44! When the players ran out, I too thought it was 44 and was wondering who that was (knowing we've got no #44 on our list!).

Sitting on the 3rd level of the Southern Stand, I could not make out any of the numbers clearly and was often mistaking some of the similar looking players. Browny was also barely recognisable with his socks up and occasional shonky disposal.

I thought they were too skinny/stylised. Maybe go to a more plain 'font' without the fancy serif's.

I only saw the game on TV and didn't have any problems with the numbers, but only because after 1/4 time all I saw was Geelong players usually with no Richmond players even on the screen. Maybe if I had a widescreen tv I would have had a problem with the numbers.

I thought the sash looked great, though I would prefer the old fashioned numbers without the serif and without the black outline.

It's no big deal if I can't make out the players numbers occasionally, you can get as much idea from their hair colour, height and gait, etc.

I think it's fantastic that the sash is back.
