Seems a pretty fair trade so I can't see anybody protesting so the deal will be official at 10:46 tomorrow morning.

I won't lodge any objection (I don't really like to do that in this sort of competition), but I'll just note that it seems a bit one-sided to the Gunslingers (Gablett, Selwood and Boak compared to Bont, Grundy, Tyson?)

I think that accepting a deal then looking for a better offer goes against the spirit of games like this tbh.

Yeah definitely for this year at least, and that's why it's unfortunate that it was done with a guy that was unreachable by anyone else.

May not have changed the outcome but if sinc had posted that he thought he was too old he may have been inundated with options and the trade wouldn't have then been immediate - wouldn't have been from me to be honest, but that's why I suggested leaving it open to be bettered by another team.

I wasn't thinking of it from the point of view of one of the trading teams shopping around a trade for something better, but that if third team thinks its unders they should be able to better it, and that way rather than causing a fuss by objecting they can just make the better offer - if it's accepted maybe they were right, if it isn't, maybe they're valuing players differently to the two original teams - either way they've tested the value.

Yeah that seems reasonable SincMagic I am happy for you to entertain all offers. No hard feelings if you find something better, weight be able to work around it with what players you have left.

At this stage though it will still be official once SincMagic confirms it as there still doesn't appear to be any formal protests (although a couple don't seem overly happy about it.)

Sinc will really be hoping the league goes on for a while. It's risky stuff, his team was very young already, and this trade makes it even younger.

I would love it to be, but you never know. Even with real-life mates, these sort of leagues dies after a few years

Even then, he has gone super young but who says some of those young players dont come on.. very risky stuff. I just hope it doesnt make this competition be a one sided affair with Armooo as Black Caviar!

Armooo dominates first two years, he and sinc duke it out year 3 and then sinc takes over for the next few years.....it could happen.......but I don't think it's certain.

SincMagic and I have agreed to rescind the above trade. Given the concerns about others not having access to negotiations with SM and it putting my list in a commanding position it is reasonable to put it aside for now.

SincMagic will be back tomorrow and I am confident that another deal will be made.

Hopefully this sets a precedence because for the game to be a success we will all have to put the comps integrity ahead of our own interests.

We will likely make another trade tomorrow or Thursday so that one will stand unless it goes through a protest so if you're interested in any of the blokes on @SincMagics list you will have as much opportunity to make an offer as everyone else.
