For those who havent heard of them, the Scared Weird Little Guys, (John and Rusty) are a comedy duo from Melbourne who write and perform clever, topical and funny songs. They have a regular spot on Triple M here in Melbourne and also on the ABC and have toured over the world.

Check out the below link to their website where you can listen to some of their latest songs online.

Their latest CD, Live At 42 Walnut Crescent is one of the funniest CD's I've ever heard.

Has anyone heard of these guys and if you have, what do you think of their work??

Weren't they the duo who did that song about a decade back 'Bloody Jeff'?, a song jokingly having a go at the then new Premier Jeff Kennett.

The joke was entirely based around the duo mentioning every problem ailing soicety and then saying 'Bloody Jeff'

Ha Ha

I saw them live when they played at the Adelaide Fringe. I enjoyed the show. It might not have been rolling-in-the-aisle-crying-with-laughter stuff, but it was entertaining enough. I'd go to see them again - if only to see them playing music on whistle-pops :D

Yes. But it came out when he won his second term in office not first.

I first saw the scared weird little guys back in the late 80s at the Laast Laugh in Collingwood (now defunct and merged in with Comedy Club, Carlton). I think they're pretty lame and will occassionally come out with something half decent but not much.

My Aunty was telling me they came and played at their work Christmas Party a couple of years ago and she thought they were funny as. That was when I started looking out for some of their work... saw them on a few comedy shows on the tv, really want to go see them play live one day.
