Hey guys,
I've got a school project in PE where i have to conduct a survery on the following question. Should AFL players be punished within the club (eg. match ban) for poor off field behaviour, or is a police punishment (eg. fine, night in the slammer) sufficient.
If you answer with words rather than a vote please be relatively concise with your response so that I can a record a clear side that you are taking.

Thanks for your time,

hmm i commented on this thread in the main board but oh well here is a copy and paste of what i had to say there.

Police need to stay out of club affairs such as the Fevola incidents. Everything should be handled by club.

Obviously this wouldn't be the case for a bashing or something more sinister, so I guess it really depends on the crime.

Club handles:
Drunkeness
Drugs
Rowdy behaviour
etc.

Police handles:
Rape
Bashings
etc.

hey , , if its hurting anyone club but as a mad hawks supporter i dont really care what happens off the field and never will , , , nothing to do with footy anyway so if they wanna get high let em really but the cops will get them eventually . . . . . buddies got 2 strikes but no1 cares really anyway lol LET THEM PLAY AND CELEBRATE !!!!!!!!
