ok my school have screwed up this year
the timetable is dodgy, changes every week...
and im in senior campus (yr11-12),
the yr11's have a diff lunch time to us

and now school goes for an extra 10min
so finish 3:25 and start 8:45

and we lost our 2 free periods (usually would go home)
and replaced by more school lessons

=v.gay

Well, for our VCE timetable, they blocked Year 12 Legal up against Year 12 French, doesn't concern me because I don't do either, but two of my friends are doing both subjects and are currently doing Legal at lunch time. And I guess they'll have to change it, which is typical because I have double free Friday afternoon when Legal is on and I bet I'll lose that. And what is stupid, is that the sciences (Chemistry, Biology, Physics and Psychology) take one free period and make it a class to get more classwork done, so I've lost three frees because I'm doing Chem, Biol and Psych. :(

No real probs with me at my school even though it's a bloody construction zone at the moment. Although they did screw up with the location of my Yr. 11 French class. Now we've gotta travel to the other campus (it's only across the road, but that's far enough in itself) to do it.

Two days in and already I'm stuffed....

Back when I did my VCE (when onions on your belt was a fasion), I somehow managed to get first stint monday and last stint friday off. It was great, slept in monday and friday, used to tell them I was going home to do CATS and went and played golf instead.
hah those were the days.

when i did mine i had first 2 monday off and last 2 friday and every second tuesday off, ahh those were the days!!

(then the time table changed and farked it all up!)

wouldnt know if its different for me - we only start on monday :D

all i know now, is that we have a whole heap of new teachers - which every school gets at the start of each yr. and we bought a new campus for yr 11 and 12 which'll open next yr... so my yr will be the first to graduate from it! yay...lol

dunno how screwed the timetable etc will be tho!

My first day back on Tuesday was okay.
But I reckon yesterday would've been the best (:o) school day in my time back.

First up we had to goto the Dance Room (we have to first up until next week   until we get our Literacy/Leap classes organised.. and i'm crap at it.) for roll marking then they called our house groups over the PA System to goto the hall for assembly (little annoying grade 8'ers were everywhere ). After assembly I had:

* English- I like the class and the teacher. And all we did was just read "teen" magazines and we're doing some assignment on them.

Morning Tea which went for about 45 mintues.

* Double INT which was absolutely crap the computers in the new "world class" computer rooms aren't even set up yet. . So we had to goto the Library and watch Shrek (which was okay i guess).

* Civics my class is okay but there's only two people I hate in my class  . We didn't do much we just had to do 2 sheets and answer and jot notes into our book.

* Lunch went for about 20 minutes

* Double Maths was absolutely bludge nobody really did anything since it was so hott in the classroom (try working in 38 degree heat  ). I almost dozed off through it.

The subjects I chose were:
- English & Maths mainstream
- Civics
- INT
- Geography
- Phys.Ed
- Art
- Music

And I think i'm missing a subject :o

I really like all my classes so far. All my teachers are great except one, my English teacher, who treats us like receptions...because apparently asking questions on how to do things makes you an ordinary student and if you don't you're a genius .

But I love Legal Studies so far, Geography we stole our teacher from another class who is a legend so it should be good, Pure Maths will be hard :(, Computers and Accounting have been boring and what else...I dunno.

Our school is growing too fast to accomodate for everyone, there are too many students to lockers, and apparently the government has said they won't allow more buildings as our school is too big already.. So year 11's and 12's get shafted to the portables .

I love the way year 8's are like, no don't do that, don't get in their way, they're big people. Ahhh :D.

All my classes were basically free periods. Simply never tried. Only just passed.

Mind you, this was 1987. There WAS no VCE in 1987. It was called HSC back then. We would be taught less, and would learn more.

Ours are so annoying bunch of little immature people . In Adelaide do your high-school years go from grade 7-grade 12? If it does that must really suck. Ours go from grade 8-12

I don't go back till Monday for year 11.

I'm doing 4 TEE (VCE for the Vics), they are:

- English
- Foundations of Maths
- Human Biology
- History

My 2 non TEE's are:

- Phys Ed Studies
- Computer Fundamentals (DAMMIT. Very angry about that, wanted media studies but it clashed and was practically forced into this subject.)

Then I'm also doing compulsary phys ed and enrichment.

Thats because Queensland children don't attend prep therefore missing out on a year of education.

Ditto. Except for the only just passing bit. Somehow I always breezed through without trying. I was threatened in year 10 at a Catholic private college that if I didn't agree to leave they'd fail me on attendance rate, even though I averaged 97% in my exams. I averaged 3 days a week at school.

Well, who's laughing now, huh?? HUH???? Yeah, that's right. Look at me now!

Stuck in the same ****ty company for the past 12 years! Yeah...... HA! :(

School? I remember that. Man, it's awfully weird to see people dressed in school uniform the first year out. It's like you've missed out on something.

I loved my school blazer when I was at school. Now I look at all the kids wearing it and laugh. How embarrassing.

Nah, SA has the same as QLD...8-12.

Why just the 4? Good luck with them though...

It perhaps would have been safer to do 5, therefore if I fail one, I'll still have the 4. Although I have no need to do 5 - I still don't know what I want to do after school, so why bother with another TEE subject that I don't even want to bother with? My brother only did 4, and he said that was well and truly enough. Plus with my hockey, and hopefully a job later in the year, I'm happy with 4.

But are you happy? ;)
