he looked the goods, nice composure and skill he seems to be that type of smart footballer

Never seen him and only know what’s been written up but there are some careers on the line, not to mention the future with his selection. I hope he is a gun in 2 years time.

Looks to be a bit similar to Tarrant - has a bit of height, athleticism, pace and poise, not to mention he's a left footer. Very promising glimpse of the kid. Hope we see a bit of him in 2007 but I hope the club doesnt rush him too soon.

More like Ryan Lonie in style than Chris Tarrant, but to be honest, he's not a good comparison with anyone at our club right now - Hence why we picked him up.

He's like Ryan Lonie meets Ben Davies - In a good way.

Pendles does something which Lonie cannot......pick the football up off the ground!

nah i dont think he is very keen on using the right foot....just remembering back to his Gippy Power days last season

Wiz identified his style like Wayne Campbell. He also said this about Rowe.
This is what he has said about Collingwood draftees and their styles (he is not saying they will be as good as or worse as, but they play a similar style).

Iacobucci - Pickett (but less ball carry)
Egan - O'Louqlin
O'Brien - Leo Barry?
Davies - ?
Rowe - Wayne Campbell
Thomas - Undernourished Cooney
Stanley - shorter Solomon (says it's not a good comparison)
J.Anthony - Clement/Bradshaw
W.Morrison - J.Brown but not as strong on the lead

Again I stress this is playing style. Ben Kinnear may play a little like Adam Goodes but is nowhere near as good as him.

Those are all the Collingwood wiz reports I can find on my computer (I have saved about 100 pages of them).

I am so glad you were wrong with this call... :o
I'll back that call up - He's runs hard and can win the ball like Ben Davies, and he uses it well, like Ryan Lonie, and he's a similar size to both. That's what I meant when I said it. For all of the flaws of Davies and Lonie, they do have their single good tricks.

I did also specifically mention that we didn't ACTUALLY have anyone like him.

Plus, you have to admit that my description was better than the the "Tarrant" comparison.
