I think Hinge is in trouble aswell... As for Stevo he adds versatility to our team which is vital, even though he probably wouldnt be in my best starting 18. Craigys game plan is pretty demanding and Stevo has the engine to do it, where blokes like Kenny dont

Thats just plain wrong!

Ken McGregor has the biggest engine from all the KPP on our list. In fact he is top 5 at the club with the likes of Burton, van Berlo, Bode et al...

From all the things to knock Kenny about, marking and engine are the last things. You can certainly question his pace, recovery and athletic ability but his engine is right up there with our midfielders.

Yeah fair enough engine wasnt the word, pace and agility is. My point was he can only play up forward in a Craigy gameplan as he doesnt have the pace in the back half. He is a stay at home forward imo, which would work at some clubs, not Adelaide.

True, but I thought these errors became less frequent later in the season & his good far out weighed his bad.

I'm also not sure if there is room for Stevens in the backline with Rutten, Bock & Bassett - but his spot in the 22 should be safe with his versatility.

This is my thoughts also. Earlier in the year you always knew Stevens was going to have at least one really bad turnover in the game, but by midway to 3/4 through the season this never happened as much, and he some very solid games.

Alot of this year one of the KPP's has been on the bench, and Stevens would be a very good player to start off the bench, and he can go forward or back. I'd be disappointed if he dropped out of the 22 altogether.
