If Scott Thompson is a certainty to go Adelaide (or perhaps Port Adelaide) that all I want is a reasonably fair deal done....just like any other AFL Club supporter who has a young talented player wanting to be traded to another club...because to be left with nothing would be pretty horrible. I'm sure Port Adelaide supporters would agree..luckily it didn't really affect them that much but for other clubs it can be quite a blow.

I would hate to see Scotty go as i see him being the future of our midfield
but if i had to create a trade it would be as follows

Port Adelaide: Scott Thompson, Melbourne's 3rd Round Pick
West Coast: Tyson Stenglein, Port's Second Round Pick
Melbourne: Ashley Hansen, Andrew Embley/Beau Waters, West Coast's 3rd/4th Round Pick
