Two weeks away. Like he has been for the whole pre season

I read somewhere that he might play this week. I didn't see much of him with the Dees, so I'm hanging out for him to pull on the tri-colours and show us what he's got.

He has some nasty shin splints. I doubt he would be ready for round 1.

I think I heard the other day that he actually had a small fracture of the shinbone, which is why it's taken so long to heal.

He's been 2 weeks away for over 2 months.

He has had some bad luck, At the end of last season he broke his foot, Now he's having major problems with his shin! My prediction is about 3 weeks. I am also glad to have him with us!!!

Even if his injury is gone by Round 1, he would probably not be ready in terms of match fitness and running work. His continuous training on the bikes will have maintained his endurance, however.

Despite this Craig might pull a surprise out of a rabbit-filled hat and play Scott Thompson in Round 1. As much as I'd like to see it, his injury is improving, albeit VERY SLOWLY, and therefore I very much doubt we will see him against West Coast for the reasons above.

i think you'll find its more desperation than a rabbit out of the hat trick....

oh and how do you know more than the public abouy the state of his injury, btw??

the last 3 yrs hes had just about the most unusual injuries you can possibly get, and hardly strung together ten games and we expect him to be right this yr??? And who was it that went at pick 12 again??? That makes it hurt just a little bit more

It said in the paper today if people didnt get a chance to read it that NC said Thommo should be on the track this week. Apparently he is in good physical shape and they may play him with his SANFL club during the AFL bye week before round 1.
