I'll never forget the day last year when we won our first game of the year, and Simon Godfrey gave him a right old pantsing all day, keeping him to 5 or 6 touches IIRC.

Yesterday I witnessed a bloke who is worthy of being in the top 10 players in the AFL. 6 goals FFS!

I hope we fought tooth and nail to keep him in 2004, and not just give up without a fight.

Farmer, Thompson and TJ are the only 3 in a decade who left, and apart from TJ we couldn't do anything about it.

Bit harsh. The OX mentioned on SEN yesterday that it was unavoidable he went back to Adelaide because of his Brother. Didn't go in to further detail but it sounded like the OX agreed with the decision on why he went home.

Travis Johnstone played a brilliant game for the Lions today, it's a bit of a shame you lost Thompson and Johnstone who would now probably be your best two midfielders along with Mclean. I dare so though, i think Johnstone needed a fresh start, he seems to have really flourished under Leigh Matthews. I hope Jack Grimes turns out well.

I dare so though, i think Johnstone needed a fresh start, he seems to have really flourished under Leigh Matthews. I hope Jack Grimes turns out well.

TJ had to go. Simple as that. He is only flourishing because teams pay him no attention now, they try and cover Black and Power instead.

Grimes will still be here in 10 years, TJ has only 2-3 left. I hope he goes well though, I have no grudges against him, if anything its about time he started delivering consistently on that talent.
