I thought he looked out of his depth against Pike and was fairly disappointing after a reasonable game against Port a few weeks back.

His disposal and movement appears to be lazy as well.

Although I'm prepared to give Woods as much time as he needs, I'm looking forward to his return.

Pike is the most underrated player in the league I reckon. Young Thorton would have learnt a lot today, but I can't see him in the team for next week with snake & Matt Carr and maybe splinter to come back. Interesting to note we won the clearances today 37-31. Welcome change. Bring on the wobbles.

Geez it will be a selection nitemare for the Match committe if the ins are Carr , Simmonds & Woods.

Geez the only outs I can think of are

Thornton , Webster & either CROAD/KOOPS/GROVER .

Someone is going to be super dissapointed .
Me gets the feeling it will be Koops that gets the rest unless Freo give Woodsie another week.

He will have to make way for Woods but I still have been happy with his development. Out of his 3 games so far, I think he has been pretty good in 2 of them but yesterday, he was playing on someone outside his depth. I still think he could be a good player for us or could be trade bait sometime in the future, seeing as though he is from Victoria.

Maybe the West Coast Victorians will trade Kerr for him ;)

I'd omit Thornton and Croad before Koops. I doubt he will be omitted after his good performance yesterday.

Although some of his work off the ball was good, Croad had a shocker and spent the fourth quarter on the bench when our forward line began to function. Webster may be the unlucky one this time.
