Scott Wade, should be sacked!!!!!!!

This guy, as stated before has to be one of the biggest *********rs to ever grace a football field or the offices at North Hobart.

This is just a snipped of what he said in the mercury yesterday.

Wade ignited controversy last week when he said the North-West Coast needed to look beyond the NTFL and support the Tasmanian Devils as the State team.

This is a discrace and I think he should be sacked, just for the fact that he is not thinking in the best intrests of football, not just in tassie, but in the rest of Australia.

I know we all knew this but I think it needs to be brought to the attention of those how didn't.

The NTFL is a great comp and I can see just because of these remarks that the NTFL is going to only be stronger and people in the North will just stay away from the devils, which in hindsight is a good thing. I can assure you that either next year or even this year, attendances for the devils in the north will fall below 1,000.

Good luck to the Northerners, I'm glad to see that they don't fall for this AFL Tasmania bandwagon attitude.
I think that that is the whole problem with footy down South now, run by people with their own selfish, pecuniary interests at heart rather than for the game itself.
And that tends to extend from the administration down to the clubs themselves.

I've made my dislike of Wade apparent a couple of times on here, the man is a douche, so Hobart it hurts and detrimental to image of the game.

quite frankly, I would rather go see a great game of NTFL these days. hell, at least I know my money would be going to a good cause - the survival of local football.

what are the membership figures for the Devils? I'd be very interested to know that, because I'm not sure they've ever really captured the state's imagination as far as 'parochialism' goes.
