Scrapping/Altering the AAMI memberships

As smooth suggested, we can make room for more fans by scrapping AAMI memberships.

Why do we have them anymore anyway?

As an AAMI member(Forgetting Cat 1 & Cat 2), what other benefits do you gain by having this membership?
*NB - I know you get entrance to up to 4 SANFL games.

If we really need them so much - why dont we make the viewing seats in the grandstand the "Members Reserve" and charge the premium price that is being paid now?

You could even make the seats in the old members resevre a little more expesnive in the afternoon games because of the sun.

Giving Everyone a Crows Season Ticket, then AAMI members have an additional ticket ot get them in upstairs. And scrap this Cat 1 and Cat 2 and cat 3 crap, its why people arent able to get tickets to the game this week.


Please note that i myself am a Category 1 Member of AAMI stadium. The main reason i joined this membership was because it had a smaller waiting list than the normal option.

What I would prefer would be a system that actually works. I would structure it such like some of the EPL teams have, Chelsea for example. They have ticketed members, and they have non ticketed members. When a game approaches (about 4 weeks before hand) they can list that they will not be able to go the game. The non-ticketed members are then able to buy these tickets for say 25$, this 25$ then comes off the ticketholders membership for the next season. If there are some tickets still left over, these go on sale to the general public. The barcode for the season ticket is rendered useless for the listed game, and a ticket is sent out to/ or printed buy the purchaser. Give the members something proper in return for their ticket and more will be willing to give it up for a game. The system really works, and crowds of 48,000 will return immediately. None of this 42,000 shit. There is a market for tickets, we sell out every game, and if this system was put in place then we would have maximum support. And **** off the numpties at BASS, enlist a seperate entity, Viagogo being the perfect example. http://chelseafc.viagogo.co.uk/

So basically my point is that we should alter the membership to provide a better, non-Bass way, of onselling game tickets, and if its is advertised properly by the club, then it WILL be a success, and no longer will be thinking of a solution to get the big numbers to our games.

anyway leave it as is they sell more cat 1/2/3 than seats so its really not going to help.
