I got the feeling in the 2nd half of Saturdays game that some of our experienced players are looking at saving their careers rather than play team footy. I distincly rememeber on a back flank, one of our players had the ball( I think Browny or Bowden) but rather that give it to Cotch who was in a clear position and in clear view kicked it to a congested contest.
I get the feeling that some of the experieced players may not give him the ball in the future cause he is showing them up.

I got the complete opposite feeling, especially with Chris Newman. I think about 4 times he had the ball just outside the arc right at true CHF with an empty goal square and went for a short pass rather than unload at the big sticks. I think maybe one of those passes was effective. He has to put his hand up and nail those goals, they really bring the team together when you smash a long one home.

And Browny on the members wing gave it to Cotchin, who immediately looked to give it straight back (he is a first year player, that is what they do) but he told him to run with it. This was mentioned on the Sunday Footy Show I think and it was good from Browny.

Our players need to back themselves, take on the player and use thier dash. This was a major characteristic especially in the win over Fremantle. Run and carry, break tackles, long kicks

It's not that complicated is it. Many seem to think circle work makes more sense.
