Setanta will be playing on Sunday but for the red and white of the Bullants.
What Setanta needs at the moment is as much ground time as possible and he has the opportunity to do that for Preston. Otherwise he will have limited ground time for Carlton and this is detrimental to his development. For the betterment of his career he needs to be getting as much game exposure as possible - Bullants for Carlos on Sunday

Well Carlos is in the squad but I think Bryan will be pretty stiff to be dropped and showed a bit on Sunday. Bryan almost certainly knows more than Carlos and we need to win more than we need to blood Setanta in another game. If White thrashs Banana-by it could be risky going in with one ruckman and a youngster who is still learning the game.Then again Pagan might want Prendergast to run with White and pick him up as Ian can run the legs off most ruckman.

Is Bannister injured or something because I would have assumed him to be a walk-up start last week! He finished last year with a few really solid games. I have not heard anything about him for ages and I just want to know if there is a reason he is not in the squad.

I think French is playing well. Having him, ADL and Prenda is more than adequate against what the Dees have. Bit concerned down back. Not convinced re. Livo on Neitz. Suspect ADL will float down there. I hope they pick Setanta. A forward line with Fev, Whitnall and Waite, Walker on the flanks with Eddie in the pocket looks dangerous and should stretch the Dees. Adding Setanta to that forward mix should be interesting. His height and pace could cause problems. Suspect ND's going to put heavy tags on Lappin, Houla and Stevens. Stevens in particular cut the Dees midfield up last time we played.
Yep, Aisake's a bit taller than his brother (200cm+) so he'll probably end up as a ruckman.jc67 said:
