I love thunderstorms. But they also worry me as my house is right next to the biggest Mo-fo of a tree in the entire town.

Its not going to happen tonight. Storms over Eyre Peninsula have died out, which were heading your way.

You guys in Adelaide may see some action tomorrow arvo/evening. Hoping for some in Whyalla tomorrow too.

Good thread.

I'm happy no thunder was finishing off some stuff in the backyard. If you want to weather watch then go here.

It was interesting the other week we did have the lightning go through and I was checking that radar. Obviously when they took a snapshot image it was when there was a lightning strike and the whole image went blue for a second when it was on the loop.

Talk about the bureau that cried storm.

So what about tomorrow. Should we believe the '20-40mm' rainfall warnings, or assume it's really 20-40 drops and have another good laugh. I'm hoping the bureau's crying wolf again because I'm planning a trip to Lobethal tomorrow night, and I've already postponed one light expedition (Salisbury North putt-putt course) this week because of rain, I don't want to postpone another.

Okay, perhaps FD88 wasn't being totally honest about the old storm. He decided that there wouldn't be one because he wanted to stay outside and play racket ball a little longer.
