Picking Shane Birss would not have made one iota of difference last night.

Fiora is crap, Birss is crap ..... get some bloody perspective people.

The only reason I would have been happy for Birss to be picked last night is because it would have been amusing to see Chance Bateman turn around and see a constipated, penguin waddler chasing him - have a giggle and put on the after burners

No! Birss is not crap but you are right, it wouldn't have made a difference.

Most saint folk realise Birss is in our best 22 and we are all fully aware Lyon doesn't like him. What you just said about Birss, i feel the complete opposite! I think hes a fantastic utility who you can be used in many different roles.

Well i think Birss is a tad slow for Lyon's liking. We have a one paced midfield as it is and maybe he thought bringing in a guy who can run a bit but couldn't play the game if his life depended on it would've been better.

Spot on about it making no difference. I just wish Ross could explain his reasoning for this selection. It had me baffled.

Who thinks I am Rossco? Was everyone bagging me and then what happens? Point is, it wasnt Birss's or Fiora's fault that we copped a pasting. They aren't the so called quality players. It's the rubbish called i.e. Dal Santo and Montagna that choke and can't man up that have to be traded for draft picks.

Look out for Kerr and Cousins because at least they aren't soft front runners who step up when the team is going well. They are match winners who don't rely on Hayes and Ball and Harves to get the footy for them. Goodbye Dal and Monty. Hopeless players.
