Shane Morrison

Has been delisted by Brisbane and is entering the PSD. With WB and Carlton taking Rawlings and Stevens and Richmond possibly Copeland only Melbourne are between Geelong and the big forward. Would be worth a punt in my opinion. From all reports he is a big unit and would complement our lightly framed young forwards Mackie, Lonergan and Blake.
Hapy to pay a bit of cash if it knocks the broke demons out of the race.

Shane Morrison would be a handy pick up if we're able to get him in the pre-season draft, and we'd have the spare cash in the salary cap to afford him.

I think Melbourne will go for Phil Read from the WCE. They have a million young CHB's much like we have a million young CHF's. Brisbane people say Morrison is a better CHB. Interesting that the Lions fans on here rate Weller a better KP player than Morrison and he was also delisted.

Morrison is a good young tall and would provide excellent cover for Harley and Scarlo esp with White, Finno, Girgic and Wooly gone.

What would you guys do if Ray Hall nominates for the PSD which he will almost certainly do now? I'd take him. He could play at CHB just like Morrison but has that extra versitility that allows him to play ruck or even on the wing.

Morro would definently add some much needed versatility to our team. He can cover CHF and CHB, so he would be good cover for blokes like McCarthy, Scarlett, and Harley. (Well said BigCat).

As for Hall, to be honest, I'm not a big fan of him. He's turned us down twice. Why pick up a bloke who's heart's not in it?

Billy Morrison in the National Draft and Shane Morrison in the PSD would be a great addition for the Cats

Shane Morrison has slipped under the radar because of not getting the opportunities with the Lions but I think he still has a fair bit to offer. CHB or CHF.

Now that Copeland has decided to stay Morrison will be a Tiger. They were very keen and tried really hard to get him in trade week. Pick 4 in the PSD will be Shane Morrison - Richmond FC

As for Weller he did get delisted GC. He was on the rookie list but played games this year. Everyone expected him to stay and be elevated but he wasn't. It's really strange b/c I remember watching the Fox Footy show on the comings and goings of trade week and Beatson, the Brisbane recruiting guy, was saying they were not very active coz they didn't really need to add anyone to their list. He said they would elevate some rookies and he specifically mentioned Luke Weller. Something funny must have gone on there. Definately worth a look.

Surprised Weller was delisted. They were tipping him to take up Lynch's position once he had retired. Might be worth looking at for Geelong possibly.

Sahne Morrison is in the National Draft. Rumour has it Richmond are after him, but who aren't they after?

Maybe (hopefully) Geelong can get him with a late pick.
