Should we pick him up? Runner up in the JJ liston trophy, only 20 years old, hard at it, uses the ball well and knows how to find it.

I know he is short and not overly quick but surely he would be worth taking a risk with a late pick.

Wouldn't hurt. Especially this year with the draft being pretty shallow, who knows what will happen in the bottom end. We may as well pick up Valenti who could very well turn out to be better than we all thought.

Played TAC for Sandrigham Dragons, school footy for Haileybury and made the Vic Metro team.

Don't see why not, Matt Priddis is a good example of a player who cut it at the level below AFL, in his case the WAFL.

I'm confident CAC will make the right decisions.

Definetley. I have seen him a few times now and he is very tough and can use the ball well. Why not give him a go.

Agreed, he would fit right into the AFL. Every team needs a smaller, in and under player. Valenti has class as well and can kick goals too!!

take james allan (geelong boy who won the sandover medal this year) any day before valenti, just as young and in the nathan jones mold............a couple of seasons ago i really liked danny hughes from sandy cant believe we didnt give him a run at some point this year (i know he is rookie listed).....hughes has got some steve johnson about him
