Obviously by my username you can tell I am a huge fan but I was wondering if it is possible for a club to pick him up next year cause he is playing some good footy in the WAFL. I hope Fremantle pick him up and give him a chance your all probably thinking we don't want the dud but I believe that he's still got something left in him. He's 30 I think now is he allowed to be drafted next year?

mind u i think it was harsh he was delisted in the first place, but hes gone now.

I think you will find he is over 30, and I think that you, like he, need to get over it.
One of the worst brownlow medallists ever, and as it turned out it ruined his career. Made him think he was worth more than he was, stuffed up his contract, off to the pies, did nothing, career over.
Might have finished with some dignity had he stayed at Melb for what he was worth, and might have got an extra year or 2.
You have been drinking a serious amount of bathwater if you think that any club would risk picking up a bloke on the wrong side of 30 who hasnt played for over 2 years.
A lot of touches in the WAFL means F all. See what the VFL did to them in state game???

Might get drafted. But not as player.
He spends a lot of time with Freo coaching staff on game days.

Might see him either as an assistant with Freo or getting the head job for East Fremantle.

According to reports, he was on Holiday over seas when he was told that he was being traded to the Blues.

No chance at all, he's too old now. To me it was ridiculous that no side saw value in drafting him when he publicly stated he didn't expect any huge dollars - there were then and still are a lot worse players in midfields playing every week.

I remmeber last year he was offered a spot in the game.. and refused.. because he claimed he could still be drafted in draft last year.... (he was still keen to get back to afl)..

thou paul salmon did play in EJ whitten, and then made his comeback the following year? iirc.

But I guess this year he has excepted he wont be playing afl again.

Woewodin can nominate for the draft if he chooses, he did so last year and was not picked up. He might be given a chance in the pre-season draft, but I don't think he is what clubs are looking for.

I think some clubs are looking to go younger and not get older players, so age will work against him regardless of his ability.
