Very impressive. I look forward to seeing more highlights.
Now that I've seen him play I wouldn't mind if we picked him up.

Played with him during my very brief stint at PHOS Camden, a long time ago now. One of the biggest w***ers I've ever met in my life. I hope like hell we don't pick him up.

Think he said the same about you.

I never said I don't rate his football ability, I just think he is a shit bloke.

Is that why he's one of the most popular blokes at the footy club with the other players and trainers?

Is that why he's one of the fans favourites?

What did he do, cut your lunch?

I dunno what he was like "a long time ago", but he's a top bloke, and bleeds football.

NB much more chance of his younger brother Matt getting drafted then Shannon.

I do agree with you on that point, although Shannon looked good in his debut for the seniors on the weekend. I'm not sure if you went to school with him or something, but plain and simple, he was the reason I left PHOS back then. Admittedly this was when I was 13 or something, so he has probably changed since then. I also know he bleeds footy, no need to tell me that. His brother played with mine for a number of years too at PHOS, have always been awesome footballers. Hayden Jolly and now the Snook's, would be a good story for PHOS if both ended up drafted (of course Hayden already is, but you know what I mean).

Isn't everyone from PHOS a w***er? ;) jk

From what I've seen of him though, got some talent the kid.

Wonder how Hayden is going this season? Have not seen his name on any GC team reports, but they are a bit few and far between on the GC board.

Gun volleyballer.

Apparantley would have played for Australia one day I heard. Well, the last I heard about him was about a month ago, someone told me that he has played atleast 1 game in the VFL, not sure if anymore than that though. Is also relishing the GC lifestyle too, in more ways than one.....;)

Haha, there are some good blokes though, I must admit. I've always rated his brother higher, so it'll be interesting to see what happens.

May have been a chance as a setter, although had he been about 6-8 inches taller would have been a real chance as a hitter. Just lacked height. Was always going to be lost to footy though.

I can well imagine he has settled into the GC lifestyle. ;)

I have a lot to do with many local football teams in Adelaide and I must say that I have never come across a footballer as down to earth, kind and funny as young Shannon Snook. I was lucky enough to witness his first league game.

Everyone at the Glenelg club was so happy to see him play his first league game as they all know how much he deserves it. He gets along with everyone at Glenelg, from the old men and ladies at the club, life members, young fans, league & reserve players as well as the young boys coming up (he is happy to take them under his wing) players parents to all coaching and training staff.

But I don’t agree about there being more of a chance of his brother being drafted than him, I think they both have a lot to offer & would make great AFL brothers.

Shannon is a tough team player who isn’t afraid to get the hard ball and makes at least 8 great tackles a game. He is a highly skilled forward who kicks many goal. He has a long range kick that always hit the target.
His a player to look out for.

Not sure where to post this but a couple of guys have caught my eye recently.

Jake von Bertouch kicked 11 goals from the Eagles Under 18’s in a 108pt victory against South Adelaide a couple of weeks back.

Christian Calabrese, the Under 18's Sturt Captain, last week got 49 touches, 12 clearances, 9 Inside 50's and 1 goal !! Unfortunately he can't continue with that momentum - the Double Blues have the Bye this weekend.

Relation to the netballers?

I have seen him play a couple of times and those stats don't surprise me at all. Very good around stoppages with his contested footy, good tackler. Uses the ball pretty well too and is a good on-field leader. Just his size and speed may hinder him from progressing further than SANFL level. Heard he is a natural athelete that excels at any sport he has a crack at and is highly regarded at St. Peters College.

Well played young man, slotting in nicely in the 1's. Just about cemented his spot for finals.
