there's a 101 angles you could look at to make a case for it but to be honest it takes a bit a way from the supreme effort of the tiges in answering every challenge the Bombers threw at us..So I prefer to refute any suggestion of coulda, woulda, shoulda by politely pointing to the scoreboard and another notch thats etched into history as a win for this great club over a once feared rival..:thumbsu:

You should spend more time thinking about your own coach and how many games he lost this season for the ever struggling RFC.

26 years and counting.............

Id rather spend 10 years on the bottom than finish 9th or 10th every year.

As u have told me millions of times in the past 15 years IDGAF man,u would love to have sheeds coaching Richmond.U think he is an old coot now,but u will be singing his praises next year when we storm back into the finals!!

Your list is well-placed to achieve your desire.

ah i love essendon supporters, blindly thinking they can't stay on the bottom for long, despite the fact there list has next to no decent young talent and allthere decent players are getting towards the end, you have no hope of getting finals next year, ATM your going nowhere and Richmond is on the up

Less than a goal in it , only minutes left on the clock ... he swings DEAN RIOLI into the guts and takes Hille out of the ruck for the centre bounce ...

LMAOOOOOO .

Didn't Rioli get the clearance?

I reckon the future looks great for Essendon (if you're a tiger supporter!!)

With the exception of Dyson and Stanton, I reckon most of their kids look like duds.

I've never seen a side with so many players with no skills on their non-preferred side.

They look slow, poorly skilled, and I love it.

Guys this is arogance at its best, the most amusing thing is that this mob is into the 2nd year of the cellar dwellar title and some are oblivious to it still.

And it is well known within the football circles that Sheeds and the bombers were tanking from at least round 8.

Like a knight in shining armour ... coming to Sheedy`s emotional rescue .

Rollin

Give me , from the bomber fans perspective , the rational explanation for such a coaching move at the death like that Nobster ?

... and while your at it , Bradley on Richo for the full 100 minutes . No other options there ? ... now of course the ol` coot gave an articulate and viable explanantion for that ... but was it the honest one ?

Hardly the point is it and you know it

Not if their reasons for putting him in the middle were because they thought he could win the ball.

Also worth noting he pushed forward after the bounce and didn't stay in the midfield. He was just there for the bounce.

He couldn't make it back to the midfield mate... too far. :thumbsd:

He is in the worst condition of any AFL player I have ever seen. Is it a medical reason? Or is it obvious? :o

For arguements sake .... lets just say Longy413 is coach for a day . five minutes to go , less than a goal in it , game in the balance , who are you going to push into the guts for the centre bounce in what is going to be the most critical , game shaping , contest of the night ?...

I`m sure your thoughts would turn to that finely tuned , peak conditioned , adonis in DR ....
