I was checking my port anonymity at GRC:

........when this warning popped up:

Any ideas as to how I might configure my way around this?

depends on your network.

if you are behind a router (modem) at home you can configure the beast to respond in a certain way to port scans etc.

on Dlink routers it's in the Advanced tab, Firewall menu.


if you aren't behind one, setup windows firewall to respond or not (in this case)

on a mac it's in system preferences, security, firewall.
