Loved these games during my high school days and have very recently began replaying them.
In my view it probably just eclipses Pokemon in terms of entertainment and is if not the best, one of the best jrpg series ever.

It does have much of the monster raising parts that Pokemon does with evolutions of sort as well.
It also has a moral system and a world that very much can be effected by the players choices which is very rare in jrpgs.

Unfortunately it's only really a niche series in the West.

Are there any other fans on BF?

Lack of replies never a good sign

Nocturne was one of my favourite ps2 games. Just loved the customisation, the choice, the stylization... Just quality at every turn.

I think it was called Lucifer's Call as well.

Its never really had a big following far to niche for that, persona 3 takes the cake for me loved playing the remake on the vita.

Yeah Nocturne and Persona 3 are great.
The customosiation and choices are a real mark of the series.

Can't wait for persona 4 on the vita also really hope eternal punishment gets its remake released in the west.

I'm currently playing Persona 3: FES & i will be getting Persona 4: Golden soon.
