I'm sure many of us have been to Melbourne Sports Books and been helped out by Santo whenever we wanted a good read.
I was shocked to see on the news that a van with the name 'Melbourne Sports Books' was being towed away from a murder scene in Templestowe.
The Age reports that it may have been Santo's mother that was killed.
If so, condolensces to the family and to Santo who runs an awesome business and is a good bloke too.

Oh no. When I heard the name Santo Caruso, I just hoped it wasn't the bloke who runs Melbourne Sports Books. He even talked about his mum helping out in his shop (which wasn't specified) because he (Santo) had a bout of cancer. And now his mum is gone, and his dad is the chief suspect? Oh poor guy.

I'm from Darwin but each time I have been to Melbourne I have been in Melbourne Sports Books. It's a good shop and Santo Caruso seems like a nice guy.

I have bought quite a few books from there and have always found Santo very helpful and knowledgeable about any sport. I send out my sincere condolences to Santo and his family at this very difficult time.
