Does he continue to 'shoot' up 3's game after game?

His shot looks horrible and a large percentage of the time, it is horrible.

The guy has been known to catch pure air from open looks with opposing players residing in different postcodes.

Just what would it take for Mike to say 'c'mon! shorn, tone those long range bombs down a little bit, you can't shoot!'?

Would that be such a difficult thing to do?

A simple problem but one a team doesn't want going into any important games/series.

Well he shoots 34% over his whole career, I don't see what the problem is. He's having a bad season shooting wise from the arc, but its bound to improve, so be patient

Isnt he already unhappy with his current role in the team. Im sure telling him to shoot less will only worsen the situation.

As someone said 34% from 3 over your career isnt bad.

But i do agree that he has a very ugly stroke

He's given (by the opposition and the Suns offence) open looks, regularly from his favourite spot/(s).

And last season + this he's shown consistency of not cashing in those gifts. In some cases not even taking the rim.
Either way - he'd make a terrible gay pornstar.

That career average is decent but considering the looks he gets and license he has - his shooting % lately from three point range hasn't looked like improving and won't improve.

Time to put it away and focus on other things me thinks.

I'm a big Marion fan but he has an ego far succeeding his talent - I sincerely doubt any requests/advice would be adhered to.

There's lots of star players in the NBA who shoot way too many threes. Given Marion doesn't really take that many threes/game, it's not a big deal.

I think it's more worrying when guys like Baron or Old School 'Toine are jacking up 8 threes a game whilst shooting low 30's.
