If Stafford is found guilty over the Everitt incident do people think we should appeal or just cut our losses??

I dont think the Tigers will appeal if it doesnt go our way. They should just deal with the fact that if Staff has done something wrong that he should miss a game or two.

Given that the club has come out and strongly defended stafford over this incident i'd expect an appeal to be lodged, and rightly so.

Cant comment over the stone incident as i havn't seen it.

on the spider incident if he,s found guilty then we should appeal.we have a very defendable case regarding the 1st one.

the 2nd one against stone does not look good for staff.if anything he be found not guilty on the 1st but given at least 2 weeks on the 2nd.
most frustrating bit it was totally un called for and with only 5 mins left in the game:mad:

cheers!

dont need to appeal the everitt case b/c theres no case to answer!!!!

as for the stone one................ havent seen it, but from what ive heard it dont look good, and as for the lynching mob led by G.Healy..........absolute disgrace:mad:

For the Everitt case, damn straight we should!

The good thing about the tribunal is that they are independant of the AFL and of the media and if an objective case is put forward, they will most likely come to an objective opinion.

Also, they will tend to disregard any previous cases if which Stafford has no case to answer.

hook

fwiw...hawthorn bigshot john hook has been reported as saying the Stone incident was an accident...

But was he really saying the Everitt thing was therefore deliberate ?

And will his remarks have any effect either way ?

Doesn't there need to be new evidence for an appeal to be accepted?

I agree he should nt be there in the first place.
The Everitt one was accidental and i would not even say it was reckless.

The second one is a joke, he was chasing Stone at full pace, Stone slipped over and Stafford fell as he was trying to stop adn tackle him. The tribunal is too nit picky these days and is a disgrace with its inconsistancies and joke suspensions and reports.
