Thought it would be easier to create a whole of comp threa, rather than year by year.

Looks like a great season ahead, especially with 2 big changes to the traditional set up. Along with Charter Hall being title sponsor, both Penrith and Newcastle (who were unable to attend the captains day) are competing and we also have every game shown live on stan sport (and apparently finals will also be on a linear nine channel)

Parramatta will be christening a redeveloped stadium later this year.

Games start next weekend.

**** them the Sydney Rugby Union have stuffed the pathways up for this comp. Funny how the Waratahs never brought into the NRC concept insisting players could just play Shute Shield and now they won’t win a game.

In the Union Parramatta and Penrith are a combined 1-8, in the League they are a combined 17-1. Rugby is so ****ed in the Western Suburbs, and Australia for that matter that the sooner it dies it’s embarrassing death the better.

After about 30 years of mediocrity the Two Blues find themselves in the top 6, 13 rounds into the season. Woohoo!!
