Siggins?

Does anyone know what's been going on with Sam Siggins? Haven't heard anything about him, he isn't playing any SANFL and was absent in the preseason?

Very interesting, i was pretty excited about us drafting him. He looks to have alot of Daniel Tahlia about him, tall versatile player with a massive leap. Hope he gets some SANFL into him asap

Yeh apparently he had an ankle problem over the last month or so. Hopefully he'll get out and play some SANFL games pretty soon.

My hope is he becomes or CHB and tails replaces truck at fb. Love his desire to clear from hb by linking up or breaking lines.

Need Siggins plus as we have some problems with tall defenders as outside current list we have
Shaw ----- Will he ever stay fit but real talent .
L Thompson -- Did ok in finals but not really big enough or good enough.
Then a rookie and thats it .
With Otten to get back to best and can only hope Truck got at least 2 more years

I posted in another thread yesterday that I tweeted the club about Siggins. They said he has had an ankle problem but is back in training now. He tweeted a picture of his swollen ankle the day after the first North Adelaide trial game, so presumably he got a nasty sprain or something then.

Yeh defs an ankle injury. Recon he'll be back into the SANFL in no time

Caught up with Siggo over Easter. Still had a bruised and swollen ankle. Reckoned he was still 1-2 weeks away from playing. Told me he was loving it at the Crows. Also said he has put on 5-6kg already.
