I've only been a member for the last three years, since I've only been living in Melbourne for that time, but I wholeheartedly agree about memberships. My first year was 99, now a stinker on field and off, it was fantastic to finally see the team play. The out of state memberships really wasn't valuable, but got mine for this year. Agree totally with supporters coming out of the woodwork, whilst not trying to be pious about it, it anoyed me somewhat last year, to see all these so caled 'fans' kinda jumping on the bandwagon, the more the better, but please take out a membership, it is OUR club, it NEEDs to continue, and poor ol' Joe, he ain't gonna be around forever...

yeah i realise all teams have bandwagoners, just is more annoying the supporters who don't pay to see the play
