Not writing this post to knock you Collingwood supporters, cos after all we both love each other as clubs lol. But just wanted to say how I was amazed at the amount of skill and speed you guys are short of. If i can go back earlier into the year when you played the Cats, Dogs, Lions etc one thing you guys had was speed but it all seems to be lost.

You guys need to rebuild and not do what we did in 2001, just expect it to hapen the following year cos we had guys like Bradley, Silvagni, Manton, McKay, Hickmott, Ratten etc. These guys were all aged between the 30-36 years old bracket.

You guys are similar to us in that year. With guys like Buckley, Burns, Clement, Rocca, Licuria, Presti etc. These guys are all aged between 30-35. If you guys go back 5 years, it was the revise, all of these guys were 5 years younger and still had their best footy in front of them ,wheras we were in the position you guys were in now.

I no its hard to rebuild a side especially when you jump 8 spots on the ladder, but you dont want to fall in the trap of what we did.

As stupid as it might sound we are in a better position than you guys because our list is pre-dominantly made up of players from 18-25 years old who haven't played their best footy yet. It will be interesting to see what happens from here on in!

the only problem you guys have is that ur players ages 18-25 only about 5 or 6 of them can play. i'd say we will finish higher on the laddeer than you for at least the next 5 years our youngsters **** all over yours egan,thomas, pendelbury, shaw, rusling, swan, maxwell, T Cloke just to name a few and our mid age players also **** all over yours tarrant,b.johnson, lonie, didak, r. shaw, fraser. sorrry carlton.

typical....can u read mate...i said 5-6 can play...fool! and when u have bryce gibbs that will be 7 and im pretty sure u just named 7 including him. all im saying is that ur middle age and young players were not good enough to carry you through and even though our older players are becomming slower and will not be around soon...it doesnt mean we have to bottom out and do a carlton...our young and middle age players wont let that happen to us. and i thought we were talking about future....seems not back to back wooden spoons im loving that.

First of all Licca just turned 28, preti is only 28, Rocca is 29.....Ill bet my house on the fact that we will win our next flag before you HACKS will! Im so happy we didnt trade Didak for Nick Stevens, you can keep him!!!!

Guys, I am ashamed of your performance in this thread.

Compared to the normal acidic vitriol we get treated to from opposition supporters, this guy is at least proposing a reasoned and, from his perspective, honest theory, and the best you can do is hurl insults at him?

If the guy is so wrong, then it shouldn't be hard to prove that to him without being so petty.
