what are everyone's thoughts on his first game and future prospects, i was working on sunday so only managed to catch a bit of the game but from what i did see looked reasonable for a debutant, has a penetrating kick, looks like he has some footy smarts, like all youngsters he made some mistakes but you accept those at this point, he reminds me a bit of a younger cam bruce with his size and mobility, at 190cm could develop nicely i think, actually played with him in juniors so really hope he suceeds, what does everyone think on how he fits into our future?

Not bad, I don't think anyone expected the world of him in his first game. He's a good mixture of an athlete and a footballer which is always a good thing. Having seen him a lot down Sandy way, he can use the pill exceptionally well and he will do that a lot in the future as he cements his spot in the team (yeah I have tremendous faith in him) Shat his dacks a couple of times on the weekend when he was being pressured and gave off a dodgey handball and he got wrapped up a bit but it was pretty full on out there in terms of tackling on Sunday.

Hopefully he'll put in a performance of Rising Star proportions against the Lions. He's a Melbourne supporter from what I've read so he's got passion for the club by the looks of it and he's a keeper in my books. Onya Bucks! (Think that's the first time I've ever said something good about a Buckley in the football world without feeling a little ill in the stomach!)

yeh, a melbourne supporter growing up, there is certainly a romanticism in that aspect, really hope he can succeed, the one thing i think will develop over the rest of the year is a good relationship on the field with nathan jones, great mates off the field and i reckon we'll see a lot of times where chunk gets the in and under ball and serves it off to bucks

I'm hoping he can use his pace and good skills to give our midfield that receiver who can break the lines and hit guys like Juice on the chest.

Does anyone know how quick he actually is? I'm not talking times or anything, just I haven't seen much of him so for example is he quicker than Sylvia who is fairly quick.
