this guy seems to be the forgotting one in the draft. i know he was picked 45 and we have players like selwood and djekkura who we all know will be an exciting talant, but how come no fanfare for hogan. supposdly his best attribute is his kicking and we all know he has great stamina and pace.

He is very quick; top 3 in three of the draft camp tests (all speed/stamina related). I thought he would go much higher in the draft (2nd round) and am very glad we snatched him with our fourth round selection. The only downside was that we missed picking up Prismall, a probable first/second round draft pick this year. I am still hoping we will pick him up in this years draft.

Hogan wont get a gig until at least next year IMO, needs to gain about five kg to be able to survive in the AFL.

I watched him in the reserves last week vs Nth Ballarat, he got a little bit of the ball in the second half. Still needs plenty of time developing his game and his body. But he's ok at the moment.

From what I've seen of him (the games vs Sandy 3 weeks ago and the one on the weekend) the guy looks like a good little goalsneak. I'm sure once he bulks up a bit he'll be moved up the ground a bit, but until then he'll mainly play forward I think.
