On Channel 7 news tonight it was announced that Fremantle have signed Simon Lloyd, your sports psychologist and high-performance manager, on as an assistant coach.

Was wondering what your opinions on him are?

Firstly, if you didn't know, he is Matthew Llyod's brother, just for trivia purposes.

He is very highly rated as Collingwood, and he started as the Sports Psychologist at the Pies, then onto the high performance sector.

Another loss for the pies, after losing Alan Richardson last year, Brad Scott this yer and now Simon.

A good pickup for Freo, especially a side that needs all the "mental" help it can get.

And believe me, I couldn't agree more on our lack of mental strength but I'm glad we're addressing it here.

From what I have heard (from sources shrinkly) Malty doesn't give much credence to psychologists. I've heard Simon is good at his job and I suspect he'll have more of a free run at Freo than the pies.

Subsequently, I'd say it's not much of a loss to us and more of a gain to Freo.

But it took us how many years to get over 03?

its taken leon how many years to being consistent in the H&A season?

leon has failed in how many finals series now?

These are all things Lloyd was meant to help fix, like i said im not sure his full job but i cant say those three things are great to have on your CV

The dip after 03 wasn't about mental scarring, it was about us being on a downward swing and other teams on an upward swing.

You blame him for the quiet period after 03, but not give him credit for the remarkable period since 06? When in truth he deserves neither.
