With Walker coming back and possibly Robinson coming in too, I think we can move Simmo full time to defence. He is quick, footy smart, very good one on one, solid overhead. Gives run. He has played there occasionally and whenever he has I have liked what I've seen. Would seem an ideal type for the role to me and I think would really add something.

Thoughts?

Would trade for the right price or player to give us something we lack...

Simpson dropped down a gear when he had the opportunity to put pressure on a Magpie running inside 50. Simpson could have run him down, but bludged and didn't apply any defensive pressure. Yet Kade suddenly produced a Peter Matera-type burst of speed when the ball was turned over and he received it in the clear. That was a poor effort from a player who usually plays above his weight and leaves it all on the park.

Zero tackles for Simpson.

There are still too many Camporeales in the side chasing a cheap kick on the HBF ahead of winning their own ball and running hard both ways.

We missed Armfield's spark plug run off half back and second efforts on Friday night.
