You have to check out Bitter Sweet Kicks. The only band I have seen recently that put on a live show that comes close to SixFtHick.

Haha I can imagine. I'm fine when its the croud trying to beat me up... I think a vocalist doing it would freak me out a little.

The last time I saw them was at the Annandale Hotel. They both went roaming out through the crowd, but it was only Ben that was unhinged enough to be a little bit scary. The funniest moment was when my girlfriend at the time tried to use me as a shield when he came towards us, but wasn't able to hide there as some random guy had already hidden behind me!

Best live Australian band I've seen - probably caught 8 or so shows over the years.

The doco is brilliant, but it's impossible to capture the mayhem and the energy of the 6ft Hick show on film.

I find the same with their studio albums. Good that they are it's just not the same as a live show.
