I was only thinking about Skase the other day, wondering if when he died it would be like Stefano on Days of Our Lives - where in actual fact it was all a scam and he would be hiding somewhere in the 'underground'

Strange society we live in. Full of hatred and often created by the power of the media. I suppose all the millions we have spent trying to extradite a dying man are now considered waste. And if successful we could have spent millions on a trial and $3000 a day to keep him in prison until he died....oh, plus all his medical bills which would hve been borne by the taxman.

Ever heard of judgement day? It aint on Earth and we al are powerless to judge. Ever heard of forgiveness? No, I suppose it's an obsolete word.

Mass murderers have had a much easier time than Skase. What does that say of a society who puts money ahead of life and spirituality.

Hell yes, bring his festering corpse back here for burial. It could be turned into a major tourist attraction: for 5 bucks, you get to dance on his grave for a minute. The gubmint would recover the money he took out of the country in no time at all.

Frodo, it isn't often these days that we get to take pleasure in someone else's death, so take your high ground morals and put 'em away until something worth defending arises!

It's not high moral ground, it's about the 'heart'.
When you put hatred down on paper or on a PC screen the ONLY person suffering is YOU. So why do it, particularly when you don't know the facts, only media sensationalism.

Skase may have robbed people but he did so without violence. Not so that Australian icon Ned Kelly who robbed and was violent yet is almost reverred by Australians. Such duplicity is but symptomatic of sheep mentality where thought ends at the full stop of media hype.
