Very nice stadium to watch sport from.

A few questions.

Only one flight of stairs to get about 8000 out of the main stand?? Wonder what would happen in the case of emergency.

The 200m walk to the buses. Now that was an event.

Is the transport system the worst idea ever? Took for ever to get to the buses and then 45 minutes more just to get onto a bus.

At least I can say I have been once.

I went to the Tigers v Titans praccy match. While I live fairly close to the stadium I chose to catch the bus, however getting home was another story. Good getting there but the bus routes after the much are horrible. As for the stadium I though it was a tad overated. Was a little dispointed. Would have rloved a mini-Suncorp which is an awesome stadium. Good seating allround to watch the game though.

Outstanding venue! The roof around the ground keeps the noise inside and makes it sound like 50,000!

The venue is fantastic viewing, but way short on the number of bars required to rehydrate yourself and others.

Yeah, it took longer than the main event!

Getting out the ground after the game towards Robina station was an absolute nightmare... what a joke!!!!!!

Ditto.

I'm heading there in early June for the Titans-Storm match.
Sounds like the transportation is a bit like Dairy Farmers Stadium in Townsville. Now that was a nightmare trying to get back into town on the bus.

A quick couple of questions for the gc locals

considering that melbourne is currently building its own version of skilled park

a) it seems to me that the seats seem a little overpriced, particularly $55 platinum seats past the tryline. is this a supply and demand issue for the gold coast?

b) where is the "away supporters bay" of which they speak on ticketmaster?

c) is there any general admission or standing room?

thanks

a) Supply and demand at the moment, but it wont go down in the future if you ask me. $55 behind the try line was steep.

b) Behind the tryline at the northern end I believe.

c) Plenty of standing room in the lines for the buses. Otherwise no.:D

thanks Chasing the Dream for the info

look forward to seeing it in person in june

will decide on the away supporters bay later on

The only problem with this game (and I didn't realise before I'd booked my flights) is that it's the weekend before an Origin game and our side will resemble a reserves side.

As seen at Lions & Broncos games, the days of GA seating in Brisbane are long gone. Trying to organise seats with a group of friends can turn into a logistical nightmare. :thumbsd:

Going interstate makes me appreciate how lucky we are with the mainly GA sporting culture we have in Melbourne.:thumbsu:

Hi JF.

You are pretty much right about football supporting in Queensland.

But luckily you'll be pleased to know that the Gold Coast Titans offer General Admission tickets in Section 30, The Legion supporter bay.

These can be bought as a season ticket or as one offs off of ticketek for individual games.

Section 30 is already enjoying fantastic growth through people wanting GA, to sit with new and old friends as well as enjoying that old fashioned supporter culture with giant flags, confetti and drums.

Here are a few pictures.

It's really turning into a festival of colour and support, enjoying the atmosphere is half the fun.

If anyone is ever at Skilled Park come to the front of Section 30 and say G'day, or better yet get a GA ticket and sit with us!

The Gold Coast Titans also offer an AWAY supporter bay, which is the opposite side of the stadium to The Legion, it is behind the southern goal posts.
