So yeah they are not either Bruce Springsteen nor black rappers that edgy white guys pretend to like so i doubt anyone on Bigfooty would know of them

I'm a fan. Very catchy Noise rock/pop band from the US/, the guitarist used to be in a really shitty band poison the well, this stuff is far removed from it

Or my pick

Your thoughts?

*Edit* the song Crush is in timing to my avatar as well, Another reason to like them!

I saw them not long before Rill Rill first came out, in '10 I think... They were playing at a small club in New York. One of those bands who have insane live shows, full of energy

Love the first album, don't really dig the second. Seems to be the other way around for most people.

Exactly the same with me.

Was very disappointed when they were on the Falls (2010?) lineup but they got snowed in on flight from the US so didn't make it in time. Never managed to catch them since then and am pretty well over them now.

The aesthetic sounded a bit too abrasive and the songwriting isn't good enough to get me into them.

But a mate had a spare ticket for their Billboards show in January, so I walked down and enjoyed it. Can barely get through the LPs, but seeing a band with that much energy and genuine enjoyment made it great fun.

Some songs are really good, some are really bad. I love Comeback Kid, Rill Rill and Infinity Guitars but cannot stand Crown on the Ground.

Been playing a fair bit lately.
Rill Rill, Road to Hell, Infinity Guitars and Crown on the Ground get a lot of play in my rotation.

I remember coming across these guys on Last.FM with less than 300 odd listens with a link to their EP back in 2009. I think Rill Rill was called Ring Ring at this stage, and you just knew a polished version was going to be a hit. I think they are just about done these days.
