Anyone using this?
Someone mentioned it in, Foxtel -How Atrocious has It Become Year after Year? thread, but for the life of me I can't find the post again, it looks like it's been deleted.
Anyway, it's an app on both of my Samsung smart tv's. I've signed up, $18USD/$25.98 per month at the current exchange rate.
It has 1000s of channels on it from all over the world but predominantly UK and USA, therefore there are 100s of sports channels including NFL, NBA, NHL, I couldn't see any MLB on there. There are individual team channels for each team in these 3 competitions.
There are a few F1 channels, an AFL/NRL channel, other motor sports. Fight Network and ESPN 1 and 2. EPL, Scottish Premier League, I'm sure there are other European leagues on there too.
There are 100s of movie channels and there are also 100s of movies that have been uploaded onto it, we watched Bohemian Rhapsody last night and I watched First Man the other day (I had seen this one in the cinema), A Star is Born is on there for my wife to watch when she can.
HBO and HBO2, AMC (The Walking Dead).
All the usual channels that we get here on Foxtel seem to be on there, all the Discovery channels plus a couple of extra ones all the NatGeo channels, there's a NASA channel, Smithsonian channel, all the Disney and Nickelodian channels.
Showcase (Game of Thrones), TLC, Space, E! channel, History, Comedy, Hallmark, CNN, Al Jazeera, local news from just about every major US city,
100s of music channels
UK channels 4 and 5 and 4SEVEN and 5STAR
Cartoon channels.
154 Canadian channels.
70 Australian channels. This is the free to air channels and their digital ones from each state capital.
A lot of the US channels are on there a few times each, I guess to cater for the different time zones.
I guess some questions I have for anyone else on here that is using it are :
1. Is there an easy way to navigate the channels? I see I can mark them as a favourite, but can I then bring up a list of my favourites only.
2. Is there an easy way to get programme guides for varying time zones / countries or is it a matter of finding them on line?
3. Is there any way to record programs off it?
