Interested to hear wot posters views are on Joe's place in the team at the moment.

Seems to (maybe deservedly at times) cop a heap of bagging by some supporters.

Personally i think he is a gun when he has the footy in his hands...............his disposal is first class.................but probably doesnt have the pace to get it & match it with the likes of Saints/Cats midfielders.

Probably playing him off the bench in spurts is the way to go i reckon but many would suggest its his last year.

Is he still in our best team this year?

Still the best user of the ball of the midfield group. We killed Freo out of the middle and it was thanks to JJ Pevs and Misiti that we did. They may not be blistering quick, but they can win the ball and get it out. If he keeps playing the way he has for most of the season, there is a spot for him next year as well.

Consistently finds the ball, always uses it well. Definitely a place for him, and will be as long as he stays near current form.

Does a lot of things right. Having someone with his experience and skill who can genuinely turn a game, coming off the bench, is a nice luxury.

Always uses the ball well and he's also probably in our top 5 for accuracy on goal with Lloyd, Rioli, Murph and Hird.

Is doing everything right. I`m feeling for Joey at the moment it`s as if his career is depending on his next kick , unbelievable pressure for the boy. He, in what time he is getting, is playing sensationally.

smokey is one of our best ball getters and when he gets it he ussually makes it count. He may not be getting the ball as much as Hird or JJ but 95% of his possesions are effective. Always has a RED HOT go!!!

I think he plays his best football starting on the ground. There is no advantage for him coming on and off the ground late in the game. It worked with bewick because he could chase the ball and kick a few goals but with misiti all you are doing is interupting his game and being freshed legged isn't helping when he isn't a runner/chaser. How much better did he play last week when he played the first half compared to the previous games coming off the bench.
