WELL, wait until winter, then look for a mountain and go to the top of it! You should find some snow there!

;)

It's snowed some here today in KC. Not enough to stick. Got a pretty good snow a couple of weeks ago. Overall, it's been a pretty sissy Winter so far over here.

For those of you who haven't seen snow, you're not missing much as far as everyday humdrum. Sucks to drive in bad snow or ice. However, if you've never gone skiing or snowboarding, your are missing out terribly. Best fun you can have standing up.

Peace,

Well I had never seen snow cept on movies, till a Canadian friend put her webcam up to her window and showed us outside, it was really cool. :)

I have no desire to get too close to snow, I hate the cold. :)

I have a love/hate relationship with snow.

I love the early snowfalls, because the early winter is usually very cold but when it hasn't snowed yet, the ground gets all hard, brown, and barren. It's always pretty the first time. It is usually pretty close to Christmas time as well, and all the good stuff that goes with it - school holidays, presents, spending time with friends and family.

I hate it three months later in the middle of March, when you are still shovelling it, driving through it, slipping on the ice, and freezing your arse off while spring is supposedly just around the corner (and having arrived in warmer parts of the country already).

Snow is great the first time it falls for a season, great the second time, okay the third time, kinda boring the fourth time, and then every time after that you just want it to go away.

It gets old quickly.

Snow is overrated. It looks so nice and inviting, soft and cute and fluffy.

Its wet. Its cold. And sometimes its hard.

Dont go near the yellow snow either.

I'll try that. Pyramid hill in mid july should be ripe for a bit of downhill skiing.:)

Snow sux big time and so does the cold! It's now -12C (That's MINUS 12C) here in suburban Chicago at 3am Wednesday. It's supposed to be -20C later in the week. Luckily most of our snow melted yesterday and we just had flurries today.

THE OFFICIAL VOTE (THUS FAR)

9 Australians wouldn't mind a little snow

3 Americans and 1 Australian think snow sucks for the most part.

1 Lioness hasn't experienced snow first hand, but seeing how it runs counter to the whole Beach Boys phillosophy, is opposed to it instinctively. ;)

It's only ****ing down with rain in Ballarat.

I would love to have snow here though!

Not sure if it snows on top of Mount Buninyong during winter-- but it would be interesting to check it out sometime. :D

My first trip here, back in 2000, it did snow in Ballarat... but just like Sbags' original premise to this thread, for all of five minutes, and not enough to stick for even a measley snowball.

Did catch a snowflake on my tongue-- and that was fun, even in a very simple way!! :D

Cheers,
William

I like snow, but it can be annoying walking through snow with it getting in your eyes. Watching bicyclists stack it on icy roads is pretty funny though.

Nothing better than going up to Falls Creek or Hotham in the winter and doing some snow-boarding & skiing..

If you never have......do it! It is great fun.

I just saw snow forthe first time a month ago when I was in NZ. Didn't actually get to touch it though, was gonna go up in a helicopter to land on the Fow Glacier, but the weather was too bad. :(
