Some advice please

Downloaded a demo version guitar pro 3 for evaluation purposes but didnt like it,however when i tried to uninstall it threw wise uninstall i got a message saying "could not open install log file.

I also tried to by add/remove programs in my control panel but no luck, same response as above.Any advice or suggestions as to how i can delete this software without stuffing up other software on my computer?thanks.

Try instling the software again, it mightcreate the install log this time.

If that doesn't work, then deinstalling the software can be really tricky, although it's unlikely that you'd do any damage when deinstalling if you just delete the folder with the software in it. You'd need to check though whether there any startup commands in the startup folder or registry, otherwise you'll be left with annoying, but harmless, messages about files not being found.

Check to see if there is a uninstall .exe in the directory where the program is installed to. If not, delete the folder.
