Egan was ok, got the footy but turned it over a few times.

Fanning is getting better, though he let Kosi sneak into the forward line and he couldnt go with him. Happened four times for goals I think.

Heath got it, but couldnt use it, absolutely killed the ball.

Taz ran and presented all night, yes like usual. Had a good game though our pathetic midfield, non existing forward line and Rusling breaking his collarbone butchered the poor guy.

Jimmy killed their tool up in the forward line.

Wakes played good rebounding footy, though should have chased down Kosi when Fanning couldnt go with him

Woey did a good tagging job on Dal Santo, but cant play first option footy. When he gets the ball he holds it and holds it until he kicks it to a 3 on 1.

Well done Leon Davis, maybe there is a light at the end of the tunnel...I hope so.

The negatives are just too terribly depressing...I cant bring myself to dwell on those. Any thoughts?

Maxwell showed he's going to be multidimensional

Buckley played a great game as a forward (again)

Yakka is a gun

Heath Shaw looks the goods, has the right build for an AFL player

Fanning keeps on keeping on. Been an absolute soldier for the club this year, hope he wins the best clubman award or something

I dont think this loss is as bad as the last two, because the attitude was better, the injuries were worse, and the opposition was outstanding. Not nearly as upset as teh past two weeks.

Positives:
Buckley - what else needs to be said
Maxwell - really growing as a player for a second year, could become a great half back that can be thrown forward. Didn't look out of his depth at half forward, presented well. Very impressive.
Wakes/Jimmy - solid games again, very good work.
Heater - got a lot of the ball for a first gamer.
Ego - also collected the ball well through the midfield.

Negatives:
Tarks - what happened to the kid that couldn't miss a target? I think he hit one target by foot (on the full) all night. Every kick, left or right foot, either dribbled, or fell short, or was turned over. Gone very backwards the past two years.
Tex - was he injured? He was on and off and basically looked lost.
Heater/Ego - they got a lot of the ball, but turned it over more times than not. I'd love to think they can iron that out of their game, but watching players like Tarks go backwards I'm worried they will never improve their kicking.

Give tarks till next season before you see his best again! He will get to where he was before he did his knee again! I think he was in our top 5 best players when he went down and he'll get there again coz he works hard!

Shaw yakka and fanning all deserve there spots! Fanning is improving!!

woewodin, we dont need soft players!!!!

Taz and Woey were among our best tonight..Woey kept Dal Santo to 11 possessions only, a great effort. Apart from a couple of questionable disposal decisions, it was his best game for ages. Taz presesnted all night, 16 disposals and 2 goals from very limited opportunities and substandard delivery. Tarks on the other hand, was terrible, Milne destroyed hima and his disposal was about as good as Heaths.

Yeah i dunno if that warrants reselection, its not as hard to tag a youngster out of a game! i could probably think of about 5 players that could tag just as well as woewodin! I am not disputing that woey passes well and is a good player but for what we need at the moment he is not worth ********! i find it so frustrating to see him time after time dropping marks turning the ball over just because he is affraid of abit of contact! the guy is a wimp and would be better suited playing with a team with alot of tuff bodies around the ball!

Tarrant is a gun player but his injury is hindering him majorly! our kicking maybe poor but we get the ball inside 50 enough for an inform forward to at least contribute (by shepherding or creating a contest) to goals that has not being happening! There are times where he can put his body on the line for a smother but doesnt and he is beaten contest after contest! give him a break operate on him and let him be! he is no good to us like that.

A. With woey...you missed the point a little, dont undersell Dal Santo, he is one of the gun on ballers in the comp today. Last night Woey kept him to lowest possession count for the season easily of 11 (previous lowest was 15 and 13 times over 20). Woey deserves credit for his tagging job if nothin else.

B. What support did Taz have? he led, did the 1%ers, chased etc. He must be so frustrated. One glaring example is where he led 90m to the HBF because no-one else was presenting then Egan kicks it over his head. Another where he led 70m straight at Woey with 20m on his opponent. Woey holds it and holds it, then when he finally kicks it to Taz...he's got 2 on him! Not even Bucks made a diff down there last night. Rusling injured before half time, Dids injured/ indifferent,Caracella friggin useless. Only guy who actually gave Taz some aid was Leon. No Cam/Trav Cloke, no Rocca, no Fraser, Fanning doesnt know how to drift forward yet....I dunno what people actually expect...but I do know that the majority need to cut him some slack.
